Happy Birthday to me…

Yes, it is official, I’m now 41! Ouch!
I love it, I can’t believe how much I did not know a year ago, never mind 5 years ago. Thank God, my family, my mentors, my friends, and my EDGE family. I would not trade the years back for the wisdom I gained at all. I can’t wait to look back a year from now and laugh at how clueless I was this day!
If you sent me an e-mail or called and left me a message, thanks, but I won’t know for a couple days. I’m shutting down message receiving devices and cranking Van Halen in the background as I write this. I remember before I went into comedy clubs to pump myself up I used to listen to “One Fine Day” Mariah Carey with Boys to Men (to Ground myself, and Right Now by Van Halen to get me to move forward despite my fear!
I want to wish you a happy birthday on my birthday, I can do that if I want. Now I’m covered for the year!

Grow Up - but do it slowly and purposefully.
My birthday wish to you is that you live another hundred and and forty one more years so that you may touch the hearts and fill the lives of more people here on this little blue planet. You have done so much for so many - more than you’ll ever really know. But do know this - you living your dream - has contributed to other people’s dreams. and that makes this world a better place.
You’ve done more than your fair share but I hope you don’t stop any time soon. The more you show, the more we grow. Love you, Man!

Oh, to be a mere 41 years old again.
So let’s see when I was listening to my brand new Sgt. Pepper album back when it was 1st released you were.. ok let’s see…um add the…carry… subtract…no that can’t be right… let’s see-um-
