OK, time to start teaching presentation skills through You Tube!
By Darren | March 6, 2008
Lesson 2: Stupid Presentation Advice! I’m starting a whole new approach, and bought a new computer to use technology to access a new medium for teaching. Bear with me I’m still learning (thank you Doug Petch), and I’m excited that I was able to learn to do this SOLO. Without a techie touching it! Whoooo Hooooo! A new kind of “stage time.” I’m willing to fail ad look like an idiot, you? My first You Tube Lesson.
PLEASE comment and let me know if you would like to see video lessons and podcast to learn.
Stage time,

Darren,
Not bad for a “teaser video” but I like
the 10 minute video you have on YouTube better.
(although that one is probably on the upper end
of YouTube video length).
For other videos on your blog, you may want to
add a link to the video ON YouTube so that
your visitors can rate the video (
which will help it show up higher in Rating searches).
Keep learning and sharing!

WANT MORE!!
Darren, congrats this is a great idea.
Feedback - you DON’T look like an idiot! - careful of the light glare that reflects in your glasses though.
Wondered how you were able to panout without help…?
Keep working it - I liked the ad for your - newsletter - nice touch.

@dave wheeler - The video *is* the link to the video on youtube. Clicking anywhere in the video other than on the big play button will send you to the video on youtube in a new window/tab.

I have always thought practicing in front of a mirror was silly. Speeches only work with the audience and this audience is already convinced. Preaching to the choir serves no purpose and gives no opportunity for growth.
