If you are a parent, this a “must see” presentation by Ed Tate
By Darren | July 7, 2008
Sometimes we don’t see our own true value. Ed Tate, 2000 World Champion of Public Speaking, is an amazing speaker on Leadership. Though it is not his main subject area, I’ve been after Ed, one of my best friends, to video his “other” award winning speech.
Every time I hear this speech the message blows me away. It is about trust. I think should be required viewing for every parent and kid in the world. It is simply one of the most powerful messages I’ve ever seen, especially when it comes to teenagers.
Speaking is not about writing a speech, it is about changing people’s perspective. See if you agree, and pass it onto parents who need to hear it.
Stage time, Stage time, Stage time,
Darren LaCroix, 2001 World Champion of Public Speaking
P.S. Ed has another great speech: Ed Tate’s Rules on Bullies.

More seriously, because I WAS right there in the audience for that presentation, this is a powerful speech with a powerful message.
Ed Tate is masterful.
