LIVE Lessons from the road Keynote Speaking…

    By Darren | August 21, 2008

If you dream about being a paid professional speaker, or are serious about connecting with any audience, especially people from an industry you are not familiar with PLEASE watch this FREE VIDEO LESSON.

This is a real look from behind the scenes on the road with me last week when I spoke for a client in Washington, DC. Not only did my glasses broke (not able to be fixed while on the road), I was unfamiliar with the audience, and I was recommended by a an “icon” in the industry (so that is huge pressure to perform). What would you do? How would you handle it?

What did I do? I buckled down, did my homework, and flew in a day early to see the opening keynote speaker (Ed Tate). Why fly in at 2am? Ed had the only general session prior to my speech. What does that mean. It is the only session common to everyone there. This means I can tap into his presentation to help create the connection to mine.

Check it out. Well worth your time if you are serious about speaking:
