Same coaching applies to a political speech!

As a candidate for lieutenant governor of marketing, I knew most Toastmasters would make their choice after hearing the two of us give our two minute speech at the business meeting.  The election was slated for mid-April.  I had a one hour coaching session with Darren the final week of January to help me prepare my speech well in advance.

After this session, my first draft speech needed to be totally rewritten!  Darren’s perspective of what needed to be said and deleted allowed me to write and deliver the winning speech.

Darren is very respective of his clients.  He is brutally honest!  He says what he knows you need to hear.  At the same time though, he leaves it up to you to remain honest to yourself.   I especially appreciated his four magic questions.  They helped me focus and be at my best.
